Radio Programs
The Roanoke Collaboration Project has partnered with Radio Melrose and WVTF to produce a series of radio programs. These programs are broadcast on Radio Melrose 96.9 FM on Sundays at 6:00am, 12:00pm, and 6:00pm. Program recordings are available.
The 30-minute radio programs offer commentary by Roanoke Collaboration Project Steering Committee members on timely Radio IQ news stories. We model collaboration with interactive and respectful communication from a wide range of perspectives. An emphasis is on relating these stories to the Radio Melrose audience. We do so with respect, especially in areas where there are differing views.
We believe this is a unique effort in the radio space and hope to become recognized pioneers with many imitators.
