Recognition Event

The Roanoke Collaboration Project will host a public event recognizing bridge builders in the Roanoke Valley who increase courageous collaboration across diverse stakeholders. We will establish award criteria, follow a nomination process that involves interviews and site visits, and identify award candidates. A panel of respected judges will evaluate nominated candidates; individuals and groups will be considered. This recognition event will be supported by sponsors.

Characteristics to be considered when identifying award candidates include the following:   ambassador, bridge builder, connector, non self-serving, engaging, good for all, able to articulate ideas or issues in manner that encourages all to address them.
